EYEBROW LIFT
The eyebrow lift is a safe, quick, relatively simple, non-surgical cosmetic procedure that involves the use of Botox to relax the eyebrows muscles. The treatment lifts skin around and above the eyebrows, moving the natural arch slightly higher.
SMOKERS LINES
Smoker's lines or lipstick lines appear as fine lines coming from the lips, and are worse when the mouth is puckered. Botox can help to relax the muscles that cause these lines, resulting in a smoother, more youthful and refreshed appearance. The injections can help to prevent lines from developing/deepening, or to soften existing lines.
GUMMY SMILE
Some people feel that when they smile they show too much of their gums, or that their gums are too prominent – this is often referred to as a ‘gummy smile’. One of the causes is a hyperactive muscle which elevates the upper lip. This can be effectively corrected using Botox.
DOWNTURNED SMILE
A downturned mouth often conveys sagging or sadness, leading to a tired or negative look. Age, gravity and genetics can often cause the mouth to turn downwards. Regardless of the cause, treatment is available to refresh this region and provide a lift; leading to a more positive contour.
BUNNY LINES
These lines that appear on either side of your nose can be a natural part of growing older, and some people find them charming. Others may feel that bunny lines age their face and are self-conscious about it. If you fall into the latter group, this is something we can treat and minimise.
NOSE TIP LIFT
The droopy nose tip is a common reason why patients might seek out non-surgical nose jobs. A nose tip lift can help improve a droopy nose for a more balanced and attractive nose. This results in the nose having a lifted and lighter look.
PEBBLED CHIN
Also known as orange peel chin, pebble chin is caused by muscles in the face constantly flexing. In some cases, people may suffer from spasms in the chin muscles and be unable to control it. This constant scrunching leads to the appearance of a bumpy, uneven chin. At IRV Clinics we can treat this with Botox.
JAW SLIMMING
Jawline slimming – or masseter reduction for cosmetic purposes – is a simple yet effective procedure that involves the use of Botox injection into the large masseter muscles to create a slim and more feminine jawline.
TEETH GRINDING
Clenching or grinding teeth is an involuntary movement, which we cannot control and can occur either while awake or asleep. This is called bruxism, and many people suffer of it for years without even realising it. Botox causes the muscles to relax and be less active, therefore reducing the grinding.
